Thirty-eight high school scholars from across the St. Louis region harnessed their creativity and powers of visualization as part of the Design Thinking course for WashU’s College Prep Program.

Undergraduate students Maxine Roeder (Sam Fox School), Shelei Pan (Arts & Sciences), and Miku Nambara (Engineering) received a CityStudioSTL Student Award to support their project Made to Model, an adaptive fashion campaign and collaboration featuring models of all physical abilities.

The Living Earth Collaborative at Washington University announced the recipients of its fourth round of seed grant funding, including associate professor Derek Hoeferlin and Iván Jiménez of Missouri Botanical Garden for the project Páramo biodiversity farms: A collaborative conservation project (Colombia).

The Kemper Art Museum has received a $75,000 grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, to support a major new installation by contemporary artist Nicole Miller.
